Search for saltwater crocodiles and the colourful range of bird life for which this region  is renowned. Visit the Warradjan Aboriginal Cultural Centre to view the informative displays.

Arnhemland is restricted to a select group of tour operators, and is perhaps the one area in Australia where indigenous culture is still dominant, despite a long history of interaction with other cultures. A traditional Aboriginal guide will show you excellent examples of rock art on Injalak Hill (Long Tom Dreaming). The view from the top of the hill is simply breathtaking, looking out across the floodplains and around the excarpment. Here is where you will enjoy lunch. Farewell your Aboriginal guide at the Injalak Art and Craft Centre where you have the opportunity to browse or purchase goods from this non-profit Aboriginal organisation. There is also time to watch the traditional Aboriginal people painting and to see the women weaving pandanus baskets. This afternoon enjoy privileged access into the valley, with its stunning scenery of billabongs, birgs and escarpment; this is truly a place where you can escape and experience a unique untouched haven of the Northern Territory. Depart Arnhemland for the return journey to Darwin. Tour concludes at approximately 19:30, at which time hotel drop offs will commence.

Board a 30 minute scenic flight to Bathurst Island where you will join a guided tour through the modern Aboriginal community of Nguiu. Visit the museum with its interesting displays of traditional art and depictions of the Tiwi 'Dreamtime' stories and the Early Mission Precinct with its unique Tiwi style Catholic church. Visit the arts and crafts centres with the opportunity to purchase Tiwi arts and crafts. Join the Tiwi ladies for a morning cup of billy tea and damper and witness traditional totem dances and a smoking ceremony. After a picnic lunch learn bush tucker and medicine. A visit is also made to a Tiwi burial site where you will learn the complex rituals associated with the Pukumani Poles (burial poles). return flight to Darwin airport and make own way to hotel.
