    Description Depart Alice Springs on the Stuart Highway where you will stop for breakfast (own expense) at Jim's Place, Stuart's Well - a typical outback roadside stop. Continue on through Erldunda and Mt Ebenezer and enjoy a complimentary Billy Tea and Lamington while taking in the superb views of Mt Connor Mesa. Continue on to Yulara, the desert tourist resort town for a brief stop before you reach Uluru. Take a complete circuit tour around the base of Uluru learning of the geology and legends of the rock. There is an opportunity to climb if desired. Visit the Uluru and Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre to learn more about Aboriginal culture and art before going to Kata Tjuta for a brief walk. You will then enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or juice and a cold buffet dinner while watching the sunset, before returning to Alice Springs after dark. (Dinner is included)

    Description Travel west from Alice Springs following the spectacular West MacDonnell Ranges. Pass the John Flynn Memorial (founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service). Stop at Simpsons Gap with its lovely red gum scenery. Continue on to magical Angkerle (Standley Chasm). Walk into the Chasm along the stony watercourse lined with cycads, ghost gums, acacias and cypress pines. Travel to Ellery Creek Big Hole before arriving at Ormiston Gorge. Lunch is included today and depending on the time of the year a refreshing swim may be possible at one of the waterholes visits. We travel on to Glen Helen Gorge a semi permanent water hole, for the opportunity to seek Black footed Rock Wallaby. At Glen Helen Homestead you have the opportunity to take in the spectacular views by helicopter (own expense). Nearby is the Mt Sonder lookout. This beautiful mountain was the subject of many paintings by the famed aboriginal artist and Arnada tribesman, the late Albert Namatjira. (Lunch is included)

    Description Head west from Alice Springs through Owen Springs cattle station before leaving the highway behind to explore the Finke Gorge National park. 4WD along the bed of the Finke River which has meandered across this landscape for more than 130 million uears and marvel at the dramatic evidence of it's awesome flood history. Further along the track the magnificent Amphitheatre provides a stunning opportunity for photography before finally reaching palm Valley itself. Experience a walk amongst the rare red Cabbage Palms left as relics from a lush climate many millions of years past. After lunch, travel back along the river bed to visit the Hermannsburg Historic Precinct founded by Lutheran missionaries in 1877, before returning to Alice Springs in the late afternoon.
