    Description First stop is at Lake Barrine, a volcanic crater, with a guided walk through the rainforest, an informative cruise on the lake and morning tea. Travel on to the giant Curtain Fig Tree then onwards past Malanda Falls stopping to view the spectacular Millaa Millaa Falls. A lunch stop is made at Woodleigh Cattle Station for an old fashioned outback BBQ and a guided tour of the pioneer homestead. Journey back through historic Heberton and Atherton, travelling through rich agricultural areas and on arrival visit the Cultural and Heritage Museum where afternoon tea is available (own expense). Return to Cairns via the scenic Kuranda range. (Lunch is included today).

Synergy II operates under sail or motor at a cruising speed of 10 knots, reaching speeds over 16 knots under the right conditions. You will be invited to take part in the sailing process - take the helm and have the intricacies of navigation explained. The computerised chart system makes it fun and easy. on your cruise to the Great Barrier Reef, Synergy II sails to one of two sites at Tongue Reef, approximately 20 nautical miles from Port Douglas. The Skipper will choose the best location according to the conditions on the day to maximise your experience. You will enjoy a leisurely 2 hour sail to the Great Barrier Reef, with over 3 and a half hours at the reef site.
